Ongoing - Warehouse Volunteer

Full Day Shifts: 8:45AM to 5:00PM

Morning Shifts: 8:45AM to 1:00PM

Afternoon shift: 12:45PM to 5:00PM

Ongoing - Donations Sorter

Full Day Shifts: 8:45AM to 5:00PM

Morning Shifts: 8:45AM to 1:00PM

Afternoon shift: 12:45PM to 5:00PM

Ongoing - Safety Orientation:

8:45AM to 10:00AM Volunteers must attend 1 safety orientation starting at 8:45AM and then shift times are flexible.

Ongoing - Agency-Partnered Work Experience:

Must be referred by a community agency or educational institution – Catholic Social Services etc.

Ongoing - Community Service Program:

Fine Deferral and Community Service.

Ongoing - Youth Volunteers:

Youth aged 16 and above can work in the store without a parent present

Qualifications

Attributes & Experience required:

Warehouse volunteer: must be able to lift 30lbs, intermediate level of English, over the age of 16, work with minimal supervision, ability to stand for long periods

Donations Sorter: must be able to lift 15lbs, intermediate level of English, over the age of 16, work with minimal supervision, ability to stand for long periods

Work experience: Must be referred by a community agency or educational institution – Catholic Social Services etc – email volunteer@hfh.org.

Community Service Program: We do not accept individuals who are charged with assault, theft, fraud, or weapons charges.

Youth Volunteer: over the age of 16, self-motivated and can work independently, flexible shifts
