Department - Samson Gas Utility

Gas Utility Well Operators are to be employed by the Samson Gas Utility, under the direction of the Gas Well Supervisor. Responsibilities include reviewing and monitoring all data and information regarding activities of gas usage and consumption. Safely running drilling, completion, or production equipment at well sites, including operating pumps and controls, performing maintenance, recording data, and ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols to stimulate or maintain gas production.

Under the direction of the Samson Gas Utility Supervisor, the Gas Utility Operator will be responsible for working on a particular or a combination of systems, such as gas transmission distributions under various levels of pressure, gas mains, pressure controllers, regulators, gas meters, risers and measuring. Fusion of pipes, installation of new gas services. Locations of lines, repairs of gas lines, and other duties that are requested.

Summary of Duties: Under the direction of the Residential Development Manager, the Housing Inspector/Journeyman Carpenter is responsible for the inspection of all new housing and general housing repair projects, the Inspector/Journeyman Carpenter will take direction from the Residential Development Manager, Trades Manager and C.M.H.C Coordinator, to assist in various tasks related to woodworking, construction and maintenance. They will also assist in the maintenance and repairs of residential units.

Summary of Duties: Under the direction of the Trades Center Manager, the Plumber will plan, install, and service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping equipment and controls. The plumber may use piping systems to transport water, waste and gases.
