YES-Up (Youth Entrepreneur StartUp) proudly presents the Leduc JA Company Program

Are you a high school student ready to launch something bold and meaningful? Here’s your chance:

What’s in it for you?

  • Work in teams to identify a market need, design a product or service, and run your own company from concept to sales.
  • Build real-world business skills: leadership, teamwork, decision-making, sales & marketing, financial planning, and public-speaking.
  • Get coached by business mentors, compete in events like the “Big Pitch!”, and earn recognition for your achievement.
  • By completing the program, you become eligible to apply for over $25,000 in awards and scholarships every year.
  • In person program once a week (Wednesday evenings, 6 – 9 pm), in Leduc

Weekly sessions: Wednesday evenings, 6 – 9 pm

Youth Entrepreneur StartUp is hosting the Junior Achievement Company Program in Leduc. This is a competitive program where groups of students work together to create and operate their own business venture.

More about the JA AFTER-SCHOOL COMPETITIVE company program

The cornerstone of Junior Achievement, the JA Company Program, sees groups of students working together to operate their own business venture.

Hosted once per week (Wednesday) in the evening from 6 - 9pm teams throughout Edmonton and Northern Alberta. All sessions meet in person have an in-person meeting location.
Students participate in exciting events like JA’s Big Pitch! The Northern Alberta Business Hall of Fame and student Executive Training. Divided into five phases, the program allows students to take ownership of their success by giving them the necessary resources to run their business.

START: January 2026
END: June 2026

By successfully completing the program, students are also eligible to apply for over $25,000 in awards and scholarships every year. 


Students can apply online directly with Junior Achievement and choose LEDUC as the region you want to attend sessions in.
