Taste of the Region – Vendor Application

Taste of the Region, a Networking and Culinary Event featured at the 2026 Nisku Energy Show, bringing together exhibitors, sponsors, delegates, and community members in a lively, after-hours environment. Guests will enjoy regional flavours from Alberta’s top breweries, distilleries, and food artisans while connecting in a relaxed, social atmosphere.

Date: Wednesday, May 27, 2026
Time: 5:00pm - 9:00pm Networking Night
Set Up: 2:00pm - 4:30pm
Location: Nisku Energy Show, Silent Ice Center, Outdoor Tent
Audience: Open to the public, exhibitors, sponsors, delegates and guests
Samples: Plan for approx. 500 samples (updates will be given close to the event date)
Eligibility: Chamber Member, Alberta-made products

WHY WE’RE DOING TASTE OF THE REGION
Because the best connections don’t always happen on the show floor. Taste of the Region was created to celebrate local makers, showcase the Leduc Region’s incredible food and beverage scene, and offer a welcoming space where conversations feel natural and inclusive. It’s a reminder that our region doesn’t just power industries—we nourish communities.

Vendor Space & Setup Acknowledgement
Please read carefully before applying: Taste of the Region is a curated sampling event held inside the event tent. Vendor spaces are intended for tasting/sample service only.

All vendors will be provided with a standard serving setup, with the option to rent additional tables based on operational needs.


Standard Setup (Included for All Vendors)

  • One (1) 8’ skirted front-facing table for sampling/serving
  • Space within the Taste of the Region tent (market-style layout)



Additional Space & Table Rentals

If your setup requires more space or additional tables, please indicate your needs below and we will work with you on your layout.

Requests are not guaranteed and will be accommodated based on space, layout, and approval.


Optional Add-Ons:

  • One (1) 6’ back table (for storage, prep, or supplies) 
  • Two (2) additional side 6’ tables
  • Full 8’ x 10’ footprint (includes one (1) 8’ serving table and three (3) 6' side and back tables arranged for serving + prep in a square shape)
  • Additional charges may apply for extra tables. 


Important Notes:

  • All setups must remain within the approved footprint assigned by event organizers
  • Table placement (front/side/back) will be finalized based on event layout
  • Power requirements must be submitted no later than 2 weeks prior to the event
  • Not all requests may be accommodated due to space limitations.



Please note:

  • All sampling and vendor service must take place inside the tent
  • Vendors must work within the space provided by the event organizers
  • Guests will only receive samples from vendor tables inside the Taste of the Region tent
  • Vendors should plan for approximately 500 sample portions
  • All samples must be complimentary — vendors may not charge guests or sell food/beverages during the event



Food Truck Vendors:

  • Food trucks may not serve or hand out samples directly from the truck
  • Vendors who require a food truck or trailer for food preparation only may use it to cook off-site or outside the tent; however, all samples must be brought into the tent and distributed from the vendor table
  • Food trucks may not operate as a serving station during the event

I have read and understand the Taste of the Region vendor guidelines, including that:


• Vendors receive (1) 8' Serving Table (additional tables need to be noted above)
• All samples must be complimentary
• Sampling must occur inside the event tent

• Power is not guaranteed unless pre-arranged at least 2 week prior to the event
• Food trucks may not serve samples directly from the truck
